Mason is involved in the Community
As a company, Mason is dedicated to being a good corporate citizen and a strong economic asset to the Chippewa Valley. This means participating not only in charitable organizations and activities, but also in those civic activities that promote the well being of our community. This includes the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street, Heyde Center for the Arts, Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.
We asked the late Rosemary Mason Scobie (3rd Generation Mason Family), “how should we help the Chippewa Falls community?” Her response was “Any way we can!” By that she meant we should not forget where the company’s roots lie. Being a good corporate citizen means both the company and its employees will be involved in community projects and organizations. This can be done in two ways: by sharing our time and talents, as well as sharing financially.
We believe that our employees involvement in the community is best encouraged by example from the highest levels of management/ownership and from encouragement of employees to participate in the organization or charity of their choice. Although not a condition of employment, positive community involvement by all employees is strongly encouraged.
